NSRU is a state institution under the Office of Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation, Thailand. The university was founded in 1922 as Nakhon Sawan Primary Agricultural Teachers’ Training School and became Nakhon Sawan Teacher’s training College in 1968. Soon after, the college began to offer courses in a variety of fields besides education and the name was changed to Nakhon Sawan Rajabhat University in 2004.
